Sheffield's has been in the party planning business for more than twenty years, we've got it down cold.And with the recent addition of our Backroom BBQ, we've added a full menu of mouth - watering southern style barbeque to our world famous beer selection; it's a combination that can't be beat.Whatever the occasion, pre - Cubs game day kick off, class reunion, or office holiday soiree, Sheffield's has the tools to make your next party the one you and your friends will remember for a lifetime. And you don't even have to clean up when you're ready to call it a day.
You Need Some Space
No, you can't have our storied beer garden to yourself on a Friday night in the summer, so don't even ask. What you can have, however, is one of our private party rooms, perfect for groups from 25 to 150. Comfortably furnished, Sheffield's is a natural for your next get-together. Depending on the size of your group, you will be able to choose from amenities that include outdoor seating, video amusements, a cozy fireplace and cable TV. While space is at a premium on weekend evenings, the good news is we can afford to be much more flexible during the day. And don't be fooled by our hours, if you want to kick off a Cubs game day or host a weekend office brunch with us, we'll open the joint just for you and your party! With one of our great food and drink packages, the guys in accounting will be able to have a good time too.

Check out our drink packages! Since 1980, Sheffield's has been serving up some of the world's finest craft brewed beers. We were among the first bars in Chicago to serve the products of such outstanding micro-brew notables as Bell's and Anchor Steam, relationships we still enjoy today. Pilsners to Porters, we carry representative examples of all the classic brewing styles; In short, we're pretty serious about our beer (well, as serious as you can get about beer anyway). We feature monthly special brews that range from hand pumped Belgian Ales to West coast seasonal specialties. So if your idea of a perfect party includes a couple of great beers, this is the place.
And after all, our name is Sheffield's Beer & Wine Garden. We do our best to offer a solid selection of some of the classic and popular varieties of our customers' favorite wines. Heavy on big, robust reds in the winter and emphasizing lighter reds and refreshing whites in the summer months our wine list is always a work in progress. If you don't see what you like, ask and we'll see what we can do.
Location, Location, Location
Every Cubs game should begin and end at Sheffield's, just three blocks south of Wrigley Field. We're on the corner of Sheffield and School streets, a block north of the Belmont el stop (Red, Brown, and Purple lines). For access from the Kennedy or Lakeshore Drive, take Belmont Avenue to Sheffield and head north one block. Street parking is available, if you're lucky, but there are plenty of paid lots in the neighborhood. Sheffield's also offers convenient private parking during certain hours.
Don't sweat the details
Sheffield's website is a great place to start planning your party. Ask about the specials, peruse our extensive beer selection, or choose the wines for your event. If you don't see something, ask; chances are we can figure out a way to accommodate you. You just sit back and leave the rest to us. Now that's the way to throw a party.
